MeruPuri is about a normal high school girl, Airi, who would go so far as to follow a strange superstition of keeping a complete record of being on time for school for the sake of meeting her Prince Charming. Finally one day, it happens to her. A strange, rude kid named Aram comes through the seven pointed star, a mirror passed down from her great (great?) grandmother, who claims that he's a prince from the Magical Kingdom, Astile. Furthermore, a spell has been cast on him by his half brother, Jeile, that makes him grow whenever he is in the darkness. After spending one night with Airi, he has grown to be a young man, and since he's lost most of his magic growing up, he can't return back to the magic kingdom. There's only one way to turn Aram back to his former self -- the legendary maiden's kiss. Aram, in his ten year old mind, has already claimed Airi to be his maiden. There's only one problem: Airi is a girl who believes that her first kiss must be delivered to her true love. Now, her true love can't be this ten year old kid (or internally ten year old kid), can it?
